I am a fibrous person.
That is where I will begin my story, because that is the essence of what I am about. Once I came to that realization, my whole life made more sense! It totally explains my obsession with paper and its texture and why my photography is an incredible complement to this paper play of mine.
"I print, therefore I photograph" is my motto.
My photography is my passion/hobby, along with my first love, flower gardening. It began as macro photos of the gardens' flowers, but then expanded into editing those photos and travel photos by adding luscious texture, morphing them into what I now call my art.
Beyond my passion for photography, paper, and texture, my husband and I and our cutie cavapoo pup Izzi live in a 19th century Victorian house (always in need of repair...) in upstate New York, surrounded by the flower gardens we have planted over the years. It is my getaway and source of artistic inspiration and peace and where I while away many an hour into the darkness..
Did I also mention I am a recluse...?
