Short Bio I have always been fascinated with fabric, the feel, the colors, texture and used to collect little bits of what I could get to the distraction of my family who thought that I must have been a crow in a previous life, Always did painting, pen and ink, watercolor and as early as 14 started to show my work. OCA, travelling all over the world with my camera and pad and paper collected a huge resource of all kinds of ethnic textiles, particularly embroidery. My favorite spots were the Middle East, Turkistan, Pakistan, India and the mother of silk China. Life, marriage, children took an enormous amount of time away from creativity and now that the guys are grown and off and running, I have time to devote to my passions. I work with developmentally disabled adults using arts and crafts as a communication bridge as well as a ‘feeling great’ result. I work constantly at my home and have paintings of textiles. At one point started a business called Art on the Floor creating floor cloths with fabric painted on or collaged and actually have heard that some of my work is shown at the Textile Museum I am in every sense of the word an artist with it's good and bad points I feel grateful to have such a path given to me.
