Linda Darck
Los Angeles, CA
Per the Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0, my top strengths are:
1⃣ Ideation - fascinated by ideas, able to make connections b/w seemingly disparate phenomena
2⃣ Learner - great desire to learn and want to continuously improve
3⃣ Activator - make things happen by turning thoughts into action
4⃣ Maximizer - seek to transform something strong into something superb
5⃣ Individualization - a gift for figuring out how people who are different can work together productively
Given these strengths, combined with an industrial / organizational psychology education and human resources experience, it's perhaps no surprise that I find my passion in transformational HR / talent management / organization development.
I firmly believe the key to organizational success is its employees. The nerd in me coined the phrase "Happy Personnel Makes The Bottom-line Excel." (I swear, cool Linda had nothing to do with it!)
From my office located at the 30,000-foot view (sorry, had to do something about the lack of clichés thus far), I'm borderline obsessive in my pursuit to identify and solve organizational problems and increase efficiency. I'm far more focused on what could be than on what is. What was and what is, only interests me in the sense that it helps predicting what will be. I'm a fan of building long-term context to guide short-term decision-making.
"It doesn't matter if the glass is half full or half empty if you think you can make a better glass."
- Shane Snow
I'm often busy making a better glass.
