Linda Fernando is a Mozambican strategic communications executive, reputation architect, and specialist in institutional and economic influence, with more than two decades of experience across media, telecommunications, economic diplomacy, and high-level institutional positioning.

Her work sits at the intersection of reputation, investment, public policy, and strategic visibility, advising and shaping initiatives that engage governments, private sector institutions, multilateral stakeholders, and emerging African markets.

Throughout her career, she has led communications, narrative development, and visibility strategies linked to sectors such as tourism, investment promotion, digital economy, financial services, trade, and institutional transformation. Her expertise spans strategic communications, television, influence architecture, executive positioning, content direction, and the design of high-level platforms and strategic ecosystems.

She previously held senior roles at Movitel, IREX, Associação Mídia Lab, and Miramar Television, and represented the private sector on Mozambique’s National Digital Migration Commission (COMID) during the country’s digital transition process.

Linda is an alumna of executive programmes conducted under the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM), through AIBO and CBIC, with specialised focus on economic diplomacy, artificial intelligence, new media, and strategic state narratives.

She is the Founder of Mweko Media Consultancy and Co-Founder of MediaCraft Mozambique and Criattus Mozambique, platforms dedicated to strategic communications, institutional visibility, reputation architecture, and the development of influence ecosystems across Africa.

Her work increasingly focuses on building strategic environments where narrative, reputation, diplomacy, business, and investment converge to strengthen institutional relevance and long-term economic positioning.
