Linda Filardi

A magna cum laude alumna of the Seton Hall University School of Law, Linda Filardi has spent more than three decades as a corporate attorney with experience spanning general corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, and other areas. Among other areas of focus, she draws upon a background in corporate governance, corporate tax structures, and leveraged finance transactions. Linda Filardi also leverages extensive international experience accrued while providing corporate finance and legal guidance to companies in Tokyo.

Among other notable firms, Linda Filardi spent more than 15 years in leadership roles with GE Capital. Joining the company’s Tokyo offices as a senior counsel for the Asia region, she later spent more than a decade as the executive counsel, leveraged finance and marketing, in New York City. During this time, Ms. Filardi supervised all aspects of sponsor finance activities while spearheading sales training programs for GE Capital.

Linda Filardi builds upon this experience in her current role as a senior director and an associate general counsel for Capital One. Working in the company’s New York City headquarters, she handles lead attorney duties for an $18 billion portfolio spanning Capital One’s diversified industries, sponsor finance, municipal finance, and other businesses. She also supervises all legal aspects of loan execution and cross-border lending processes.
