MY VALUES: Fun, Efficient, Useful
MY MISSION: I support not-for-profits to focus on the right things in order to create the space from which great things happen.

THE WORK I DO:
My work as a consultant and in leadership roles over the past 30 years has focused in the not-for-profit sector. I help strengthen organizations by establishing good governance practice, strategic planning, thoughtful human resource management and strong financial management.
I believe that how an organization allocates its financial resources is an expression of its vision and is linked intrinsically to delivery of its mission and programs. I also believe that organizations must be met where they are now in their history, not in an idealized or mythical future state.

THE EXPERIENCE I BRING WITH ME:
I have been working as a professional arts administrator since 1984. As a freelance consultant over the past three decades, I have provided services as a consultant, mentor and business manager to arts and other not-for-profit organizations across Canada.
Past key positions have included: General Manager of the Vancouver Fringe Festival (1984-88), Interim Executive Director of Open Space Gallery (1989), Executive Director of the Women in View Festival (1990-95), Administrative Director of Playwrights Theatre Centre (1998-2013), Director of Finance and Administration for the Vancouver International Film Festival Society (2013-17), General Manager Green Thumb Theatre (2017-18), and ongoing Business Management consultant to grunt gallery (2004 to present).
