Linda McGrory
Linda McGrory is an author and a top editor, working as a freelance for the international academic publishers, Palgrave Macmillan, as well as a spiritual coach and speaker. These qualities and experience give her a unique ability to coach and mentor those solopreneurs facing the challenge of wanting to pass on their knowledge and expertise via the written word.
Linda is the creator of The Writing Academy Online, a website dedicated to helping solopreneurs start writing: mentoring coaches and solopreneurs, using easy step-by step tools and resources, to sky rocket their credibility as an expert by writing articles and books.
Linda has been coached and mentored by successful personal development teachers, including Scott Armstrong and Tina Sibley, as well as attending a life-changing workshop in London with Joseph McClendon III. As a result, she has been able to achieve success with her first book, a guide to gardening for beginners, now available on Amazon.
One of her proudest moments was realising a life-long goal of graduating with a BA from the Open University. In addition, she helped to set up a new Toastmasters International speaking club, achieving the Competent Toastmaster award, and serving a full term as President. Linda has also worked as a volunteer with the Pet Bereavement Support Service, a national help line provided by the Blue Cross charity.
Linda passionately believes that with the remarkable growth of the internet, solopreneurs have an amazing opportunity to reach out to so many more potential clients, and to take their business from the ordinary into the extraordinary!
Linda's mission is to demonstrate and promote every aspect of a healthy, fulfilling and successful life, and to do so with a sense of humour.
