I'm Linda Masuku from a small town called Barberton in Mpumalanga. I am doing my third year at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Mathematics and Information Communication Technology (ICT). I am a passionate student teacher focusing on enhancing teaching methodologies in mathematics and computer application technology. My passion for education is not just about imparting knowledge but also about empowering my learners to think critically, solve problems, and become active participants in their own learning journey.

Bell Hooks' vision of education deeply influences my philosophy of education as a liberatory practice. I believe in the power of critical thinking and dialogue in the learning process. Furthermore, I believe in the importance of making learning relevant, and meaningful to learners' lives, and to transform the lives of learners. Bell Hooks writes about education as a practice of freedom, and I see my role as a teacher as one that will facilitate freedom. Creating inclusive and empowering learning environments will be one of the things that I will ensure to change the lives of learners.
