Linda Reimer

Linda Reimer is the Acquisitions Librarian, a digital literacy specialist and the American Dream Grant @ Your Library grant coordinator at Southeast Steuben County Library in Corning, New York.

This blog will complement the materials, programs and services we’ll be adding to offer Adult Learners of English over the next year, Spring 2013 to Spring 2014, due to receiving an American Library Association & Dollar General Foundation grant.

And notably, the equipment, computers, tablets and software used in American Dream programming and services were purchased via a generous grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, the American Library Association (ALA) and its Office for Literacy and Outreach Services (OLOS). The grant will continue funding the American Dream Starts @ your library®, a literacy initiative for adult English language learners and their families for the next year.
