Hello, I’m Linda, originally from Norway but dual US/Norway resident since 1995. Based in the heart of Manhattan, I’m a tech (!) entrepreneur and film producer with crossover interests into geopolitical issues.

Linda Saetre, CEO and Founder of PLATO; a vertically integrated, global media company, created to meet the content and distribution needs of the digital future.
Linda is an accomplished producer, writer, and sales whiz who transitioned from a decade of experience in acquisition, development, and film/TV distribution to devote herself to acquiring cutting edge tech companies.
Her previous accolades include "March of the Penguins." She is also the founder of STG (Saetre Tech Group) and SFG (Saetre Film Group), two cutting edge media and tech companies providing services to PLATO and Telecoms.
Before becoming a tech entrepreneur, Linda was best known for serving as VP of Bonne Pioche International, producers of Oscar-winning "March of the Penguins" (2005) which grossed over $130 million at the box office, Executive Producing acclaimed documentaries--"A Jihad for Love" (2007), "The Beauty Academy of Kabul" (2005), Sundance Channel’s "Waste, the Nuclear Nightmare" (2009), Discovery Network/Bonne Pioche’s "The Great Flood: Paris 2010" (2006)-- and producing "Geography of the Hapless Heart" (2014).
Before living in NYC, the native Norwegian studied in Paris, London, Durham (UK) and Madrid, before graduating in 1998 from The New School’s Research Media Graduate Program. She went on to work for independent film company Fox Lorber, producer Jim Stark ("Down by Law" (1986), Jim Jarmusch’s "Coffee and Cigarettes" (2003), PBS, Winstar, and Wellspring Media.
At Wellspring, she was Executive Director of Sales and Co-Production, working in international acquisitions, international sales, promotion, and production. Notable achievements include her collaboration on Cannes Film Festival hit "Tarnation" (2003) by Jonathan Caouette and acquisition of hit TV series "New Scandinavian Cooking" (2003-). She then served as VP of Sales and Development of Bonne Pioche International, managing the Oscar campaign for "March of the Penguins", distributing and co-producing a number of their films.
