Linda Shore
I am the Executive Director of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP). The ASP serves and empowers amateur and professional astronomers, as well as formal and informal educators. The ASP's mission to foster science literacy and share the excitement of exploration and discovery through astronomy.
I am also an Adjunct Professor of Education at the University of San Francisco where I teach graduate level courses in learning theory, digital technology, and the use of immersive virtual environments in education.
For over 20 years, I served as the Director of the Teacher Institute at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. I hold a doctorate in science education from Boston University, and a master’s degree in physics and astronomy from San Francisco State University.
