Linda Smith

I am a photographer and art educator living in Kigali, Rwanda. I first came to Rwanda in 2006 to do a photography project with 11 orphans at the Kagugu School in Kigali, Rwanda. A year later, the initial workshop turned into a charitable project called "Through the Eyes of Hope Project", www.eyesofhopeproject.com, which provides cameras to disadvantaged children throughout the world to earn money for school fees. In recent years, children and I have exhibited our work both in NY and US. Our photography themes have ranged from abstract, landscape and portraits.
