A small town girl with a passion for teaching; a passion for instilling a love of learning in the students with whom I work with.

Born and raised in Lanigan, Saskatchewan I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher. I vividly remember playing 'school' in my basement on sunday afternoons with my two sisters. My passion for working with children and youth was confirmed for me throughout my teenage years as I coached skating, worked as a sunday school teacher, volunteered in my elementary school, and spent countless hours babysitting. In September 2010, I moved 200km from home to pursue my dream of obtaining a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina. In my educational experiences I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations in unique settings including youth at Paul Dojack Youth Centre, immigrant refugee adults at Regina Open Door Society, and students at several schools within Regina.

As I look towards the future, I am incredibly excited to have my own classroom and further develop as a professional. Follow along with me as I make the transition from a student to a teacher.
