Many and varied experiences including, apprenticeship in cooking, got all of the experience I could by working in most capital cities in Australia, working my up to International standard, spending 3 years as executive chef in an international hotel. On leaving that position to return to Victoria my wife and I set up a restaurant which we operated for 11 years. During the course of operating our own business I did a two year leadership course which opened up other opportunities. I worked in Local Government for six years and then another six years with the State Government of Victoria. I guess my goal is to have a happy family life, I have 2 adult children, whom I love dearly. I would like to go back to hospitality, either in Food and Beverage or Operations.
