Lindsay Cartwright

My name is Lindsay and I live in South Yorkshire. I work part time as a teaching assistant and I am also currently studying for a degree in Art. I have had a love of art from a very young age. I took Art and Design at school which I found very fulfilling. Learning about new artists and different techniques is very interesting to me. Since leaving school I have drawn and painted artwork for the walls of my home. I even considered doing a course in video game artistry a few years ago because I enjoy everything that goes into making them. The graphics are amazing and the art behind them even more so.

I have wanted to do an art course for a while and turn it into a career, I have just been taking my time looking for the right one. Upon coming across the degree for Creative Arts I knew that I had found the right course that met my needs. I want the knowledge of art history along with the more practical painting side of things. I have the ambition of becoming a Art teacher, this is the real reason I decided to pursue the degree in the first place.
