Lindsay Burns, PhD, is a neuroscientist, drug developer, and independent consultant with extensive experience in biotechnology and clinical development. A Harvard graduate with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, her scientific career has included research in neuropharmacology, filamin A, opioid receptor signaling, Alzheimer’s disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.

Her work has contributed to drug discovery programs from early research through Phase 3 clinical development. Today, Lindsay consults with startups and supports scientific and grant-writing initiatives, with particular interests in filamin A phosphorylation and advancing innovative approaches to neurological disease.

Beyond science, Lindsay is an accomplished athlete who spent eight years on the U.S. Rowing team, earning four World Championship medals and an Olympic silver medal in 1996. She continues to row competitively and also enjoys creating functional porcelain pottery.
