Making the world a better place, one word at a time.

Defender and advocate of equal rights and justice for all. Proud feminist and ally.

Mama of the brilliant and beautiful Sadie Belle.

Passionate storyteller who believes in the power of words, the magic of #MarComTech (the intersection of marketing, communications, and technology), and the lasting impact of high-performing nonprofits.

Always happy to connect with communications and marketing newbies and pros, nonprofit execs, and fellow activists.

——————————

A senior communications and marketing strategist, I have been lucky to support international corporations, award-winning public relations (PR) agencies, and high-performing nonprofits over my 20+ year career.

My work has shaped public policy, changed behavior, and help people live healthier, more equitable lives.

I launched three internship programs and now manage an active intern network, helping 150 people take their first professional steps.

I frequently volunteer, acting as a judge for several awards programs, helping to found three nonprofits, and currently serving as a Board Chair.

I believe all human beings will experience coercive control, undue influence, and/or malignant narcissism at some point in their personal and professional lives.

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Reach out and I’ll connect you to resources.

I currently consult with a startup nonprofit, Living Cult Free, that empowers survivors to process their trauma through storytelling, reduce the associated stigma, and educate the public to grow compassion and prevent future abuse.

——————————

I’m in love with nature, animals, books, music, art, and technology.

I hold these truths to be self-evident: #BlackLivesMatter, #TransLivesMatter, #LoveIsLove, #LivingCultFree is necessary, and #ClimateJustice is required to save our planet.

Let’s get into #GoodTrouble!
