Akira Diamond Lindsey-Ransom was born on November 30th, 1995 in Wilmington,Delaware. Akira is the only child of Roland Ransom and Andrea Lindsey-Ransom. Akira was raised on the westside of Wilmington. She attended Howard Highschool of Technology in 2010. This school specialized with helping kids pick their career fields while in highschool. She was chosen for the shop called Computer Network Administration Program(CNAP). While attending Howard she was on the Varsity Volleyball team all 4 years and participated in Skills USA. She placed 1st her junior year in a prepared speech. She also attended Delaware-futures. This is a program helping inner-city kids with attending college. In 2014 she was accepted to Delaware State University where she would pursue a degree in Communications, concentration in Public relations and advertisement. Also with a minor in Marketing.It is here where she started to embrace her skills with doing a variety of projects that pertain to her field. She is now in her senior year interning with Delaware-black and she is a new member of Eminent which is an organization on campus. Akira will be graduating in the fall of 2018 and plans to continue her education at Grad school.
