A highly passionate and motivated young professional looking to secure a public relations internship in the Washington DC area for the summer of 2014. A senior communication student at Virginia Tech with a focus on public relations, and a history and popular culture double minor graduating May 16, 2014. As well as a marketing concentration obtained through the Pamplin International Business Program, a study abroad program in Lugano, Switzerland (January-April 2013),at L’Università della Svizzera Italiana. Currently, the communications intern for the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) at Virginia Tech. Attending Virginia Tech next fall for a two year Communication Master of Arts program, as well as gaining teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in charge of two sections of public speaking.
