Lindsey Brown

Lindsey Brown is currently a Junior Economics Major at Spelman College. Upon Graduating in May of 2014, Lindsey hopes to gain Marketing experience at a Fortune 500 company. After working for 2 years, Lindsey plans to further her education at a business school in order to earn her MBA. Lindsey is a passionate leader who has grown as a person significantly since attending Spelman College. Not only is she active on campus serving on the Executive Board for Habitat for Humanity as well as Sisters Keeping It Real Through Service (S.K.IR.T.S.), but off campus as well. During the summer of 2012, she held a full time position as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom, while also having an Internship at a local Public Relations firm called Lillie Mae PR. Managing both of these workloads taught her responsibility and confirmed her passion for Marketing and Public Relations. Since 2008 Lindsey has been the Marketing Advisor for a small haircare company called Nutress. She will continue to work for this company throughout her duration at Spelman College. Once completing her MBA, Lindsey hopes to become a Marketing Executive, Brand Marketing Manager or start her own Public Relations firm focusing on local charities.
