Lindsey Modin

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating high school I moved to Tampa, Florida to attend Florida College, a small, private, Christian school. I received my Associate's degree and moved to Texas to attend Stephen F. Austin. I studied Business Management, worked at Baskin's Department Store, and graduated with my Bachelor's in August of 2010. In January of 2011 I moved to College Station and got a job at Cavender's Boot City. After a few months of this it was time to pursue my true career goals; in May I began working at the Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living. I am an Independent Living Facilitator and I have had the opportunity to lead IL skills classes such as Cooking, Money and Spending, Cell Phones as well as facilitating recreation opportunities such as art classes, game nights and movie nights.
