Lindsey Wiebe is an online journalism fanatic, analytics and social media enthusiast, and a frequent obsessor on the future of digital media. Based in Toronto, she currently works as an online engagement manager for Rogers Media, and was previously the associate online editor at Maclean's magazine (macleans.ca). Lindsey came to Toronto by way of Winnipeg, where she worked as an online and social media editor at the Winnipeg Free Press, helping in the early development of the Winnipeg Free Press News Café. Her previous years at the Free Press as a news reporter and environment feature writer saw her survive for 30 days on strictly local food one chilly November, and explore reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan's Kandahar province.

Lindsey has previously worked as a CBC Radio news reporter, taught English at a high school in France, run a literary non-profit organization, and organized and hosted Winnipeg's long-running poetry series, Speaking Crow. She's shared her own creative writing at events including the Winnipeg International Writers' Festival and the Winnipeg New Music Festival.
