I am deeply committed to supporting my clients in forging new paths toward mental health and well-being. Guided by the principles of positive psychology, I believe that everyone possesses unique, innate strengths that can help them build their version of a fulfilling life. My approach focuses on helping clients identify and embrace these strengths through a blend of evidence-based practices tailored to each individual. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, LGBTQIA+ concerns, life transitions, and challenges related to sex and intimacy.
My practice is grounded in person-centered therapy, while also incorporating techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure-based interventions. I hold a deep confidence that my clients are the true experts of their own lives, and I strive to create a non-judgmental, collaborative environment where they can explore challenges, rediscover resilience, and cultivate self-efficacy, self-acceptance, and self-love. My background in theatre and the performing arts informs my passion for bringing elements of creative self-expression into the therapeutic process.
I am a mental health counselor practicing under a New York State limited permit, and I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. I am passionate about providing multicultural, inclusive care to ensure that clients from all backgrounds, and of all genders and sexual orientations, feel seen, heard, and respected.
