Lisa McDermott

After graduating from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a Marketing and Technical Writing degree, I moved North and accepted a job with a sports advertising agency in New York City. Over the next few years I transitioned to the world of Financial Sales and Marketing, worked for UBS Financial Services in NYC and eventually halfway across the country at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Chicago, IL. But it's a known fact; I'm an East Coast girl, and I missed the ocean! Always up for learning a new city, I tried my hand with a burgeoning Investment Advisory firm in Charlotte, NC for a few years, but the Philadelphia area, my friends, and my family pulled at my heartstrings until I made the decision to return home in 2012.

I made the decision to leave the world of Finance and return to my Marketing and Writing roots at Stratus Interactive. Now I'm letting the creative juices flow, honing my copywriting craft and implementing end-to-end marketing strategies for an awesome team of clients. I'm back in PA, I'm back to my roots, and I couldn't be happier with my new home at Stratus!
