A creative, strategic, and connected communications professional; I advise senior leaders on the issues that matter:

  • Organizational change management
  • Internal communications and employee relations
  • External messaging and media relations
  • Crisis communications

I'm unafraid to ask hard questions so that I can leave organizations better functioning and connected than when I arrived.

I've just started a new challenge as the Director of Media + Public Relations at the City of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development. I've already increased our number of Twitter followers by nearly 300, and we're about to launch a new housing strategy that will take us into the new decade.

Prior to this experience, I was a Vice President at Denterlein, advising C-level leadership on communications strategies in industries including non-profit management, healthcare, arts and culture, and real estate.

Audits of my clients' communications informed major brand re-launches, and I provided crisis communications services for C-level executives, board members, and senior leadership.

As a member of the Executive Committee, I helped chart strategic direction for the company, and won more than $200,000 of business.

Key achievements included leading a statewide communications initiative that resulted in recovering hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer revenue.
