Lisa Thomas, pictured here, is a 52 year old mom to 4 children and grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren. Her background includes bank teller, Appraisal Office Manager, and as she says “Any other extra jobs I had to do to support my 4 boys, as a single mother it wasn’t always easy. I became a single mom in 1994; my youngest child was just turning 5 years old. As a single mother who worked full-time, at a low paying job, I managed to just barely to scrape by and still managed to work a job sometimes two just to make ends meet. Back in 1994, the internet wasn’t available like it is now, so I couldn’t go to Google and learn how to save money or make extra money.

In 1998, my children’s school had a free computer learning class for parents, since I heard my children talking about using a computer at school and wanting one for home, I decided I would go learn more about using a computer. My children of course already knew about the internet so we decided to save enough money to get us one of our own. I remember us having so much fun unpacking it and setting it up. My oldest son, who is a computer wiz, got it set-up on the internet and he had it ready in no time.

As I got to researching websites on the internet, I found that you could actually make money online! I was so excited, but overwhelmed, I was finding all kinds of businesses that claimed I could make thousands working online. But year after year, I wasn’t getting anywhere. I went from one thing to another trying to make money and getting no where, and then I learned about Network Marketing and found the Free SFI opportunity in 2004.

I worked at it for a while but I didn’t have very much time to pursue it. I was still working hard at a full-time job that didn’t pay very well. Around that time, my youngest son was in a near fatal car wreck and was on life support for nearly three weeks. When he got out of hospital and I saw his determination of being out of the wheel chair and walking in a month (the doctors said it would be a lot longer). It was his determination that became my inspiration to return to Network Marketing, an SFI affiliate and become financially free. I have been working hard on my online business, but it is definitely not a get rich-quick-scheme, like so many others that claim to be, but are not.

I wanted to share with my viewers my personal experiences and hopefully my blog will help working women who have a dream of being financially free. My
