I, Lisa Zaremski, am committed to helping my clients achieve the quality of life and health they desire. Born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, I received a B.S. in Public Health and a M.S. in Mind-Body Medicine. I use peer-reviewed scientific research to facilitate an integrative and holistic approach to common health concerns. I also strive to stay aware of easily accessible and affordable wellness modalities for chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes and hypertension. As an integrative and holistic practitioner, I recognize that the interconnected nature of all the areas of one’s life, mind, body, and spirit have a significant combined effect upon one’s health.

Health Education

I empower my clients to make better informed lifestyle and health choices in their daily lives, by explaining: several lifestyle and stress related chronic conditions; the risk factors and possible health consequences associated with such conditions; basic dietary guidelines; available health and wellness resources within the client’s community; information on available wellness modalities; and ways the client can independently and safely research future health and wellness questions.

Integrative Wellness Coaching

I empower my clients to make appropriate, sustained lifestyle and behavior changes by providing a non-judgmental, supportive, collaborative, and productive space where the client can learn to: better understand and create a better relationship with their health, body, and mind; problem solve their health dilemmas; set appropriate short and long term goals; create strategies to reach those goals; adapt to life obstacles while keeping up with your chosen wellness plan; identify, increase, and sustain their deeper motivations so they can keep momentum with a chosen behavior or lifestyle change; and improve their overall quality of life.

Mind-Body Skills Training

I also introduce my clients to research-based practices that utilize the mind-body connection to reduce stress and facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. Such mind-body skills include diaphragmatic breathing, guided imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, mindful eating, or meditation. I am also willing to introduce my clients to biofeedback modalities such as heart rate variability coherence training through the emWave device.
