I'm founder and CEO of WitStream, your 24-hour live comedy ticker. My experience in the comedy industry started with TV production: Nick at Nite's "Funniest Mom in America" 2 and 3 as well as several typical reality TV shows. Even so my heart remained with comedy, so I continued to produce live shows and scout talent. Prior to that I spent 10 years as a graphic designer and art director in the media business. Most importantly, I became sick and tired of reading tweets like "Lisa is sick," or "Lisa is tired." All too often, in a time of acute boredom, I looked to my smartphone for entertainment only to find mundane and uninspired updates. I cursed the system for not giving me an endless stream of comedians' hilariously brilliant insights, until I finally realized I had to build it myself.
