Lisa Bertoncin

Lisa Bertoncin has served in a variety of positions since she began her career 15 years ago. Strongly interested in animals, she has worked as a veterinary assistant, interacting with patients and their owners. She served as a triage liaison, managing communication between veterinary doctors and clients. In addition, she assisted with surgeries, took vital signs, collected x-rays, and performed lab work. Through her veterinary experience, Lisa Bertoncin developed knowledge in infection control, disease processes, and medical documentation.

Lisa Bertoncin has also served as a restaurant manager, overseeing the hiring process from initial interviews to offers and providing oversight to a team of employees. In this role, she developed a service training program and prepared the company's payroll on a regular basis. She also created the employees' schedules.

Last year, Lisa Bertoncin completed advanced training in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to obtain the designation of Business Technology Specialist. Throughout her career, she has developed strong skills in effectively connecting with clients and colleagues.

A graduate of New York University, Lisa Bertoncin holds a Master's degree in Educational Theater. At NYU, she was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education and excelled academically, earning mentions on the dean's list. Before attending NYU, Bertoncin completed a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Theater at Montclair State University in New Jersey. She participated in the Theater Club and appeared on the dean's list there as well.

Lisa Bertoncin is dedicated to animals and has served as a foster caregiver for dogs from the Monmouth County SPCA and Jersey Shore Animal Shelter. In addition, she volunteers with those organizations, assisting with clothing drives to raise funds. She also supports The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries International.
