Lisa Clavering

I'm a digital fundraiser with a strong direct marketing background, working at Anthony Nolan and loving having a job that makes a difference. I've been in the sector since 2004, so I can safely claim over a decade of experience.

In my previous incarnations I worked at Breakthrough Breast Cancer (in Direct Marketing) and telephone agency Pell & Bales - initially as a telephone fundraiser, and then working my way from Account Exec to Account Director. I worked on some amazing accounts including UNICEF and Cancer Research UK, and I learnt shedloads.

I've contributed to Fundraising magazine (and sister website Civil Society) and have neglected my blog for a while now, despite best intentions. I've done bits of mentoring, which I really enjoy, and worked on building the Digital stream for the Institute if Fundraising's National Convention 2017. Basically, if you cut me in half it says "fundraiser".
