Lisa Edge

A nearly decade long career in television as an Anchor and Reporter solidified my love for telling people's stories. Writing is my passion and always will be whether I'm crafting posts for my personal blog (Edge in the Emerald City), a human interest article, creating an internal newsletter for a business or posting to social media. My love for expressing myself with written words began with a school project in the eighth grade and has only grown stronger over the years.

Most recently I crafted a successful media plan for Futurewise, a statewide interest group committed to creating sustainable communities, protecting the environment and advocating smart growth policies. I'm also a freelance writer for N2 Publishing and share updates of my adventures in the Pacific Northwest on my blog.

Before moving to Seattle I was the Evening Weekend Anchor/Reporter at WPDE NewsChannel 15 in Myrtle Beach, SC. While there I covered a wide range of stories with the added bonus of serving my hometown. Throughout my career I've worked at four television stations and have worn nearly every hat in the newsroom. I love meeting new people and learning about my community. Today I'm watching news from the sidelines and I'm okay with that.

Writing is my passion. Even as a kid I always had a notebook and pen or pencil with me at all times. I'd love to tell your story one day.
