Lisa Carter

I'm a production assistant at ESPN and a proud alumna of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism (MSJ '13) and Texas State University (BA '11). I was the Downtown/Paradise reporter for View Newspapers, a publication under the Las Vegas Review-Journal and served four years as the sports editor of Texas State's newspaper, The University Star. I'm a former intern on the business desk at the Austin American-Statesman, the city desk at the San Antonio Express-News and NearSay.com, a hyperlocal news site in New York City. I was also selected as one of 22 students in the country for the 2011 Poynter College Fellowship for Journalists.
