Lisa Kerner

An accomplished multitasker, Lisa Kerner serves as Vice President and attorney at a busy California law firm. At Stockwell, Harris, Woolverton, and Muehl's corporate office, Lisa Kerner joins her colleagues in providing highly involved, top-notch legal defense representation in workers' compensation and other employment-related issues. She represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators, insurance corporations, and numerous other clients.

Always industrious, Lisa Kerner worked as a successful real estate associate, as an 18-year-old, after passing the state-mandated real estate examination. Lisa Kerner was one of the youngest and most accomplished real estate associates in the state. She assisted her clients in buying and selling homes, procured home listings through hard work, perseverance, and excellent people skills, and dealt with various contractors in remedying inspection problems before a home closing could occur. Lisa Kerner also assisted attorneys with diverse legal issues throughout the process, including eviction, contract issues, and any other legal occurrences arising with her excellent problem-solving abilities.

While earning her undergraduate degree, Lisa Kerner held a management position at a property management corporation. In this capacity, Lisa Kerner aided attorneys in the eviction process, prepared rental agreements and other contracts, and handled a multitude of other issues, fueling her interest in the law even more. Lisa Kerner also worked for a video surveillance LLP as an office manager, drafting contracts, training sales representatives, and researching bids along with numerous other responsibilities. During her years in law school, Lisa Kerner served as a legal intern at Warner Brothers Television and as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

Lisa Kerner received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at California State University, Northridge, graduating magna cum laude with the Judge Julian Beck Award, the university's top political science honor. Lisa Kerner also garnered the Legal Scholarship Award. At the Whittier College School of Law, Lisa Kerner earned dean's list honors numerous times, excelled in entertainment law and internal moot court competitions, and gained a position on the Trial Advocacy Honor's Board.
