An observer, synthesizer, and connector by nature, I write about the changing face of marketing, social entrepreneurship, and creative thinking, with a bit of personal development and family-related fun thrown in. I also enjoy contributing to the work of several organizations that are developing future leaders and social entreprneurs.
This April, my third book and second collaboration with marketing guru Larry Weber will go on sale: The Digital Marketer: 10 Essential Skills You Must Learn to Stay Relevant and Customer-Centric. Academics interested in reviewing the book for potential course adoption can request a complementary copy at http://ow.ly/rVNI0.
The daughter of an artist and an inner-city social entrepreneur, I come by my interest in creativity and innovation honestly. Fascinated by the intersection, evolution, and reassembly of ideas, I enjoyed an interdisciplinary major at Stanford, before working on the development of a new market for JP Morgan and one of the first social investment funds for Women's World Banking, a pioneer in the micro-finance industry. After business school I founded Your Content Crew to help organizations create relevant and engaging content in the emerging conversation-based economy.
