Study Abroad Experience
I traveled to Genoa, Italy for a total of 7 weeks in summer 2011. After taking only 2 courses of beginning Italian, I joined the full immersion program, and took a pledge to only speak Italian during the 6 weeks of courses. It was incredibly challenging yet enriching, and I know I garnered the full experience of being in such an amazing country by agreeing to this challenge.
While I was there, I also served as a public relations intern at the school I attended, A Door to Italy. To check out the bilingual blog I made during my internship, click here.
