I've been a writer and an editor in some way, shape, or form since I was just 13 years old. That was the first time I became a managing editor, for my junior high school newspaper. Covering all the hard news of 1980s-era teenage angst fired up a lifelong love of all things journalistic and, more than 3 decades later, I'm still doing what I love today.

Today, I've graduated from school newspapers and yearbooks, and now I develop all types of content for both print and electronic media. I have 15+ years of experience in editing healthcare trade journals, which includes writing 11 feature articles across several titles, educational eBooks, and scores of marketing/sales letters and media kit collateral materials. I have an additional 5 years of editing experience in the human resources arena, including developing educational and training content. Then there's my volunteer work, which has given me the opportunity to write fundraising letters that have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in donations to a local faith-based organization's teen center, and I've developed capital campaign materials for that same organization that helped secure more than $2 million in pledges.
