Lisa Purvin Oliner
Consultant, Teacher, and Public Speaker in Amherst, Massachusetts
I am a retired High School English Teacher, PhD student at UMass Amherst, National Writing Program (NWP) Consultant, and a Program Supervisor to pre-service teachers (PT) working toward licensure in Western Massachusetts. I have supervised English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading as a Specialty, and English, History, Science, and Math at all levels. I continue to run Oliner Photography, a freelance business endorsed by the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and founded in the late 1970s, with a specialty in architecture, fine art, portraiture, and multimedia production. While researching methods for teacher education and post-method constructions, I am documenting nature and literary trails in the foothills of the Green Mountains and Berkshires in Massachusetts.
