Lisa Q

Artist, Writer, and Mother in West Nipissing, Ontario

I’m Lisa Q–a mixed-media artist, mother, and the heart behind Unpack My BPD. My art lives at the intersection of creativity and lived experience, transforming cardboard, paint, and emotion into raw reflections of identity, neurodivergence, and mental health.

Through exhibitions like Therapy in Colour, I aim to spark connection, conversation, and community healing – blending advocacy, storytelling, and interactive experiences to make art felt as much as seen.

Proudly queer, deeply rooted in Northern Ontario, and forever inspired by my daughter’s vibrant world, I create to give voice to the feelings we’re told to hide.
