lisa roma

lisa roma is multi-creative Artist: she is a published writer, editor, poet, photographer, singer, songwriter, musician, composer, illustrator, graphic designer, calligrapher, mother, educator, consultant and interfaith minister.

lisa is founder-director of Creative Women's Netw ork, a publishing cooperative providing literary and design services, from eBooks and newsletters to magazines, poetry journals and children's books. She has had a variety of her own work published in established print and e-media, and is also a self-published writer/poet.

lisa roma is a singer songwriter in her own "write" who has performed on the New York City music scene over the years. She collaborated with a variety of artists, most notably Rob Darnell of Poetic Notion Experience (formerly Poetic Notion Chorus) on original music and the music of favorite contemporary artists such as Laura Nyro, Marvin Gaye, Crosby Stills and Nash, and others from Dec. 2006 to Jan. 2012.

In 2008 she created The Half Moon Theatre Company to highlight her original work with Rob Darnell, and showcase local artists. She is currently working to complete and produce her original musical theatre project with community talent as well as offer her services to local students and schools.

As a community-based performance organization, The Half Moon Theatre Company is seeking an actual location to house domicile-deficient artists to live, work, create and perform. lisa roma is most recently resurrecting her own Electrik Goddess Orquestra, a concept group, to showcase original and experimental music. She is in the process of working to complete a uniquely original musical theatre project. She is always seeking open-hearted vocalists and musicians for meaningful creative collaboration.
