Solving puzzles and making shapes, constantly putting together and pulling apart. Unpicking and resewing, thinking through all the steps that make it easier, quicker and better the next time I do it. Neat, steady and hours of work. Soon starting a computer course to make it quicker, but just like learning Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver ... I still prefer a pencil and sketch pad to lay out the bones of the garment, and puzzle it together again.
