LISA STREIB

Growing up in the shadow of my father’s architectural studies at Georgia Tech, I quickly developed a love of the arts and discovered my own talent for design. As a child, my annual pilgrimage to the Piedmont Art’s Festival was a rite of spring. Regular photo expeditions with my father fed my passion for photography and developed my keen eye for composition. As a young adult, I graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where I received a bachelor’s degree in advertising, with a minor in creative photography. I returned to Atlanta to begin a career in custom photography for a leading lab and service bureau. But I was still hungry for more, coming in early and staying late to stretch my design talents, building proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and other design tools. I rounded out my versatility as a designer and developed production expertise with a premier graphics supplier, specializing in large format, in-store and outdoor environmental design. I have worn many hats – graphic designer, photo retoucher, illustrator, production artist – giving me a holistic understanding of applied design and the practical know-how to deliver outstanding ideas in a variety of visual formats. I presently work freelance at my own company, Streibwerks LLC. Streibwerks offers freelance design, photography and has an e-commerce site at www.streibwerks.com that offers online photo retouching services. Streibwerks specializes photography for and retouching social media headshots.
