Lisa Whitehouse

As a passionate and driven individual, I have a strong belief that all humans are of equal value. Through training, education and bringing people together we can break down perceived cultural barriers. Interculture creates safe spaces and provides advice, consultancy, and support.

Through my extensive experiences living abroad, my twenty years teaching TEFL, my family life and intercultural studies I have seen that when you bring people together and open the doors to rehumanisation, there is less cultural conflict and ultimately more peace. You can change an entire person’s perspective of an entire group, just from meeting one person. This inspired me to found Interculture three years ago to address othering, unconscious bias and celebrate and support intercultural awareness.

I am a multi-lingual (Spanish, Italian, French) intercultural trainer and a consultant. I am a UK, Spanish, Italian and Colombian country specialist with over twenty years of international experience supporting learners of all ages with their integration into new cultures. Alongside Interculture, I am also the Chair of Stand Up To Racism Bristol.
