Lisa's knowledge of post-war European modernism and fluency in interior architecture + design are skills honed over a decade working in the industry. Her portfolio includes — founding an award-winning interior design firm; owning + operating a flagship showroom for Italy’s leading kitchen manufacturer; and working directly with Italian iconic furniture brands — Arclinea, Poltrona Frau, Cassina, Cappellini — as a design dealer + brand advocate.
Prior to her work in the A&D industry: Lisa was a senior executive for global publishing companies, responsible for operations, sales, marketing and business development. It was her love of post-war Italian design that led Lisa to apply her business acumen + creative talents to the business of design.
Having spent a career working within entrepreneurial environments, Lisa is skilled in adaptive execution and discovery-driven planning. She thrives in environments of innovation + exceptional creativity — and offers a track record of successful collaboration with the founders of creative businesses to translate their business goals and passion into profitable, high-growth businesses.
Lisa's received more than a dozen prestigious juried design awards for her interior designs; and has been named to industry watch lists such as "40 Under 40" and “Women Who Mean Business.” Her work has been profiled by publications including the Wall Street Journal and Bon Appétit, and media properties like CNN. A former broadcast journalist, Lisa holds a bachelors + masters degree from the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University.
Lisa lives and works in New York City, where she is sales director for the design gallery Demisch Danant.
