Welcome to my blog!

My story is deeply rooted in the goals and dreams I have set for myself. While my life is circling around academia it is not the only interest that I have. I am a lecturer and focusing on my Doctorate of Education.

In my community work I have traveled to various Polish communities in the United States and abroad. Through the Polish Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York I have partipated in meetings with the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski. In 2014 I was invited to the White House to participate in the White House Forum for Ethnic American Leaders. WNPR published an article I wrote based on my experiences at the White House. I continue to work with local and international groups including scholars, politicians, and community members as an adovcate for the Polish community. I am also a lecturer at the University of Connecticut teaching "The Polish Experience In America" course.

In addition to my academic and community life I have many interests. Fashion and design have always been a passion of mine. I also enjoy music and photography.
