If you were to ask me…I am a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic individual who wants to impact the world in a positive way. I am a zealous learner who develops and grows best in intellectually stimulating and challenging environments. I take an innovative approach to teamwork and leadership development; I am driven to find a creative solution to every problem I am faced with, to serve with humble passion for a purposeful cause, and to persevere through the most difficult of circumstances. Besides all the seriousness – My mantra is Dream.Believe.Achieve., to love life and live every moment to its fullest!
I am passionate about the international community as well and enjoy working closely with different cultures in business. I earned a Master’s of International Business Degree from Hult International Business School. While at Hult, I studied in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, London, United Kingdom, and Shanghai, China. I had an amazing experience traveling abroad and am always happy to share my experiences with prospective students or others who would like to know.
I earned concurrent undergraduate degrees in Finance and Journalism (Public Relations and Strategic Media Emphasis) and an International Business Certificate from Arizona State University (ASU – Go Devils!).
While at ASU, I was very involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. I competed as a walk-on for the Arizona State Women’s Track and Field Program in the javelin throw for most of my undergraduate career. After completing my NCAA eligibility, I joined the ASU Cycling and Triathlon team. I was also involved in intramural sports, the residence halls and other student organizations.
I received the Outstanding Graduate Award for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Turken Family Outstanding Graduate Award for the W. P. Carey School of Business in May 2009. I had the honor of delivering the Convocation Speech for the business school in front of approximately 10,000 audience members and loved up every minute of it.
I am also very passionate about the community. I volunteer through my church, Living Word Bible Church, and help out other places when I can.
