Lissa D

Hi everyone. My name is Lissa, and I am a stay at home mom and military wife. My husband Angus is my other half. He makes me complete, we balance each other out, and we believe we were destined to be together. D is my oldest boy, and a truly incredible child. He was born in 2005, and was diagnosed with Asperger's, a form of Autism, in February of 2011, and more recently with ADHD, anxiety, and sensory disorders. He can be a challenge sometimes, but is incredibly bright, and never ceases to amaze me. C is my little tornado boy. He was born in 2010, and has always been able to make everyone smile while leaving a path of destruction behind him. He can create a mess or destroy something faster than anyone else I have ever met, but I love him.

In addition to my crazy family, I also have my four fur babies. Dakota is the greatest dog to ever grace this earth. We got her as a 6 week old puppy when C was about 9 months old, and they have pretty much grown up together. She is the most patient, tolerant, and loyal dog that anyone could ever ask for. She is also my cuddle buddy and protector when Angus is gone. Flip is my asshole cat and Dakota's best friend. I call him my asshole cat, because even though he is totally awesome and cuddly, and super friendly, he also likes to make my life difficult. If someone puts a drink on the coffee table, he stretches up and knocks it off. He loves to knock things off of every surface in the house. Skitty joined our family last winter when Angus disappeared to the Great White North for 3 months. She started off as this timid, terrified little ball of fur under the bed, but has turned into my little shadow. Patch is our latest addition, who I took out of a disgusting and dangerous environment. She has never stopped showing her appreciation for that.

Over time, I will do a more thorough introduction to everyone, but for now, welcome to my life!
