Jonathan Hastings

I've wanted to travel ever since I was little, so I've spent a lot of time learning, and a lot of time saving, to make sure this happens. After all, I need something to write about, you know, and the world is so big, and I am so small. And the beautiful thing about literature is that it can extend past time and space. I mean, I think we do have time travel. Not in the sense that we can send an object back into the past, although i wish that were a thing, but we can write and learn and extend our lives through the power of language. I think that's just really neat.

I also have an absolute obsession with culture, literature, the eighties (I just love the film production and the madness of computer technology), and jazz. I'm trying my hardest to whittle away at the internet until I can dive deep into the world. I just want to experience everything I can while I'm here.

After all, a great writer once wrote, ‘I go to seek the great perhaps,’ and to that, I will.
