My name is Lauren

In 2010, after over a decade of writing as a “side job,” I started my own business — LittleZotz Writing — and made writing my sole source of income.

Through LittleZotz Writing I’ve worked in the writing & marketing departments of a television mini-series, an online radio station, a designer headphone company, and countless small businesses around the world.

I take the dull and the drab and turn it into the wow and the fab.

Do readers clamor to read a “Blog” run by a paper company?

Heck no!

But, do brides-to-be rush to read “Invitation Ideas?”

Heck yes!

And with that seemingly small change, along with some creatively-written blog posts, I helped increase Miami Envelopes profits by over 10% in less than a year.

I’m also the Associate Editor and Community Manager for Be A Freelance Blogger, a resident expert/”queen” for the Freelance Writer’s Academy’s “Kingdom of Paidalot,” and a columnist for DIY Writing.

I’ve been a guest on podcasts & radio shows, I’ve done interviews for newspapers & blogs, I’ve taught online webinars, and I’ve spoken at several schools.

I love my writing career. I have my dream job! And I believe that everyone who wants to have a career like mine should get the chance to. That’s why I dedicate a huge chunk of my time toward helping adults and teens get started as freelance writers.
