Well there's a lot to say and not a lot to write. So I'll keep it simple. Basic/Translational/Clinical medicine communication is in dire need of an improvement and I'm hoping I can one day be the catalyst that helps improve dialogue between scientists, clincians, patients and the public. My goal besides having my own armada of sharks is to change how Candian research is funded and conducted to ensure we are focusing on the right issues. Other than that, I enjoy a good Kung-Fu movie and have a soft spot for ceviche and burritos.
