Brian Liu

Having graduated from St. Martin’s College of Art & Design in central London, Brian Liu began his career as a Graphic Designer in the design studio of a large advertising agency just off Oxford Street.

He spent the next 15 years enjoying positions as Creative Head of a number of design partnerships in London’s West End, servicing a range of blue chip clients including; Rank Xerox, Elida Gibbs, Marks & Spencer, British Airports Authority and Grand Metropolitan Hotels.

In the mid 1990’s, he took a break from design and became involved in catering, as director and business manager of his father’s busy London restaurant group. This, in turn, led to the purchase of his own catering interests in Windsor and Bath.

In 2001 he returned to the world of design, becoming Creative Head of a City of London Design and Marketing Agency. Clients included BT, the Ministry of Defence and a number of financial institutions.

Today, he is owner and creative director of Imagine Design Associates in Bath, helping both local and London based clients with their design, marketing and advertising needs.

Formerly a member of the Council of the University of Bath and Vice Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses, Bath branch.

Married with four sons and a daughter, he lives with his wife and younger children in Bath.

A member of the local golf club and the local tennis club, he enjoys all active sports.
